I know what it is like to meet new people; quiet greetings and awkward staring...but who knew four of the best people in my life can do it WORSE!?! My mom and dad have been wanting to meet the friends that I have been hanging out with often after school lately. They suggest laser tag games at Laser Quest. I got Alex, my cousin, Reagan, Andrew, and Arben to come along. Nothing what I expected happened. Just silence, no interaction whatsoever! They are all social, but they were just so awkward, I feel like I should be arrested.
During the actual game, I found out that going to Laser Quest was Andrew, Reagan, and Arben's first visit, nor have they ever heard of that place! However, Reagan and Arben understood the game, but Andrew...if this was a real battle, he would die at the start. Anytime Andrew died, he would just stand there while recharging. He barely shot his gun or ran away, and he thought this would be like paintball. We had to drag him around to move. He ended up getting 31st place with -31 points. In the end, I got FIRST PLACE, and despite the awkwardness, they all had fun.
I now know the troubles of what it is like to be a parent, except this happens at school. Who is the cause of that? REAGAN! He begs me too much to do a favor for him that I can't even try to eat during brunch or lunch! I can't help it, I just have a strong soft side that always makes me say yes! Andrew, if you are reading this, your advice is not a quarter way helping.
Also, try a DEEP FRIED SNICKERS OR DEEP FRIED TWINKIES if any of you ever get the chance!
